Bayview Yacht Racing Association (BYRA) is based on Pittwater, in
Bayview, [in the northern suburbs of] Sydney, New South Wales. It was founded on 27 November
1949 by K.C. Dalton. BYRA has produced several world champions in the
Laser, Moth, Contender and Cherub classes.
