The rayon has 1 Town Council (Town of Berezovka), 1 Settlement Council (Settlement of Pervomayskiy) and 12 Village Councils: Belitskiy, Berdovskiy, Vaverskiy, Goncharskiy, Dvorishchanskiy, Ditvyanskiy, Dubrovenskiy, Krupovskiy, Mozheykovskiy, Tarnovskiy, Tret'yakovskiy, and Khodorovskiy village council. Town of Berezovka adopted its coat of arms and flag on 10.06.2002.
