I had located the flag some
weeks ago and had asked the municipal administration for more details.

They kindly have in answer decided to put on their website some information and
a picture of the flag:
http://www.ville.normandin.qc.ca/armoiries-et-logo
"On the yellow side,
there is a plow and sheaves of wheat, representing agriculture.
On the green
side, there is a factory, representing the forest and industries."
The
municipal administration added in our exchanges that they have "very little
information on the creation of the flag", which is totally different from the
coat of arms and from the logo.
