City flag
The orange logo was adopted in 1976. It evokes the tree of life, an open flower
and a person with open arms. The three spheres represent ethnic diversity, and
the three main ethnic groups at the time (French, English and Jewish), though
today Saint-Laurent boasts citizens from 166 different countries. Beaudoin
also reports this flag. This flag is now used as the Saint-Laurent borough flag.

Variant of the city flag
image by Marc Pasquin, 19 January 2006
This is a variant of the Ville St-Laurent flag we have on the site. It was
seen flying in front of a manufacture in the town itself. The design differ from
the one we have in 3 ways:
- red logo instead of orange
- longer stem (but smaller size overall)
- different ratio (it seemed identical to the Quebec flag that was flying
next to it)
