It was on October
16, 2018 that the Municipality of Saint-Prime unveiled its new brand image,
following a digital marketing strategy process.
Saint-Prime, Living
Together
VIVRE ENSEMBLE...these words speak for themselves! Through citizen
participation, volunteers and merchants, these two words refer to the strong
ties between citizens and the municipality. They were therefore chosen to
differentiate the municipality from others and thus attract newcomers and
visitors.
A current and colorful logo
At first glance, we see the
rudbeckia flower, emblem of the municipality of Saint-Prime and a reminder of
the former logo (used since the 150th anniversary celebrations). All around,
waves of dynamic and flexible shapes represent the forest, nature and
agriculture (green) as well as Lac Saint-Jean (blue), which are part of the
daily landscape of the people of Saint-Prime. The whole is framed by a marine
blue line, a window, which reminds us of the community that helps each other, a
window open to Saint-Prime.

Logo from 1996 to 2018
This logo represents first of all a typical landscape of the municipality of
Saint-Prime. That is, Lac-St-Jean in the distance, represented by horizontal
lines that recall stability. The immense, slightly undulating fields, bordered
by a forest edge and topped by two parts of gear wheels symbolizing our
industries.
The furrows of the fields that emerge from the frame give us
the impression of a dynamism that carries us into the future. We have built
Saint-Prime from agriculture, the exploitation of the forests and the work of
the inhabitants. Today, we are moving more and more towards industrialization
and the transformation of our natural resources.
The meaning of the
colors used is quite simple. Blue, which calls for calm, reflects the presence
of Lac-Saint-Jean which characterizes our region. Green is the color of hope
and confidence in our future as well as that of the fields and abundant
forests.

The shield shows the regional flag in chief.
The Saint-Prime arms, adopted in 1964, replace the red of the flag by black,
but this may be a mistake.
