"Adoptase como bandera para el Municipio de Pa'cora, la compuesta por los colores verde, blanco y amarillo.
El verde: simboliza la esperanza y el progreso del municipio
El Blanco: el ancestro de nuestro pueblo Pacoreno
El amarillo: Simboliza las riquezas en el suelo de nuestra región."

I must stress that this source is a poor indicator of the actual proportions of the municipal flags. Some flags are just annexed to the Coat of Arms in a square proportion. Two of these flags were presented previously to the list in a 2:1 proportion. Many of these flags could be such. I think it will be wise to place a note that indicates that the true proportions of these flags could be 2:1 also.

"Fue adoptada mediante acuerdo número 001 de febrero 18 de 1989.
Los artículos que la definen, dicen: Artículo Primero "Adóptase como bandera para el municipio de Pácora la compuesta por los colores Verde, Blanco y Amarillo. Verde que simboliza la esperanza y el progreso del municipio. Blanco, el ancestro de nuestro pueblo pacoreño. Amarillo que simboliza las riquezas del sueño de nuestra región ". Artículo Segundo: "La bandera sería en forma rectangular formando triángulos amarillos en los extremos inferior derecho y superior izquierdo triángulos verdes en los extremos inferior izquierdo y superior derecho, el centro y los cuatro lados laterales serán de color blanco, teniendo en cuenta que los vértices de los triángulos se encuentran entre sí"."
