"La Bandera del Municipio de Palmar esta conformada por tres franjas verticales todas de igual tamaño, siendo sus colores amarillo, verde y amarillo.
El color amarillo, simboliza la riqueza de nuestros suelos aptos para toda clase de cultivos.
El verde significa la abundancia de su flora, la cual rodea el Municipio que le ha hecho merecedor al título de “Municipio Verde de Colombia”."
