Girón (Santander) - this municipality has two flags, but the leaf of Tobacco is the principal flag.

Originally founded on 15 January 1631, the town was transferred to its mocdern location on 30 September 1638. The historic district (XVI- XVIIth centuries) of the town, covering 64 ha, was proclaimed in 1959 "National Monument" by (National) Law 163. The two flags are shown on the municipal website.
