11 college flags of Asociacion de Colegios Jesuitas can be seen at <www.acodesi.org.co>.
Dov Gutterman, 3 June 2001

The flags of the colleges, shown on a map of Colombia in the refered link, are simple but elegant. All of them are represented with proportion 2:3.
Ivan Sache, 3 June 2001

The original source for the flags without emblems, which does not seem to be available any longer, was a map of Colombia showing the location of the institutes and, very incidentally, their miniaturized flags. I guess that "flags" were added on the map to give a colour touch more than to add precise information. Accordingly, "colours" might have been selected, removing the more complicated elements.

The institute has now its own website, under the name of "Colegio San José Barranquilla".
"Colegio San José" was founded in Barranquilla in 1918.
The flag of the institute, as shown on the website of the institute, is horizontally divided blue-white with the coat of arms of the institute in the middle.
Ivan Sache, 4 January 2009

The cartoon image of the flag suggests a very long ratio, wider than 1:2, and a smallish emblem, about half the flag height.

Variant flag
There seems to be both a new logosymbol (http://colsanjose.edu.co/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/cropped-LogoLarge-192x192.jpg) and a flag, as seen here (second flag from left to right):
http://colsanjose.edu.co/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/WhatsApp-Image-2017-09-21-at-3.20.41-PM-1.jpeg (source: http://colsanjose.edu.co/primera-reunion-del-consejo-de-padres-2017-2018/). The new flag is a horizontal flag, divided horizontally into three equal stripes (top and bottom in blue, and the middle stripe in white). The new coat of arms is located in the middle of the white stripe.

The official description of the new logosymbol is as follows (translated from the original, in Spanish): "Composed of an inverted triangle whose sides are slightly curved.

At the base of the triangle, at the top, the name of the San José School is inscribed.
The triangle is divided vertically into two equal parts; the left side represents the tower of the temple of the first seat of the College, symbol of our faith and our traditions; the right side has the characteristic anagram of the Society of Jesus (official website: http://www.sjweb.info), consisting of the first three letters of the name of Jesus in Greek (Ιησούς, in capitals ΙΗΣΟΥΣ, which derived into the monogram (more properly Christogram) IHΣ, substituting the "Σ" for the S)): JHS (Spanish: Jesús, Hombre, Salvador) (English: Jesus, Man, Savior)

The cross that crowns the letter H (Eta in Greek), has a double crosspiece characteristic of the Cross of Lorraine for aesthetic reasons.

Below the triangle is a blue ribbon with the date of the establishment of the school, 1918, in yellow."

The flag of the institute, according to a graphic representation and photos taken during the flag hoisting ceremony available on the website of the institute, is quartered green-yellow.
