Flughafen Berlin-Brandenburg GmbH

The flag of the Flughafen Berlin-Brandenburg GmbH is white with a red logo with inscription FBB. The white flag with blue inscription "Berliner Flughäfen"" was used until 2012. In 2012, the company Berliner Flughäfen GmbH was renamed to Flughafen Berlin-Brandenburg GmbH. Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH opperates the airports Schönefeld and Tegel in Berlin. In 2014, the two airports handled just under 28 million passengers, making Berlin the third-biggest airport location in Germany.

In order to create the capacities required for the future, the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport "Willy Brandt" is currently built in Schönefeld-South. All air traffic in Germany's capital region will be concentrated in the south-east of Berlin. The other airports had similar flags with inscription TXL for Berlin-Tegel Airport, SXF for Berlin-Schönefeld Airport and BER for the new Berlin-Brandenburg International Airport in Schönefeld-South.

A first calculation in 1995 estimated the costs as some 1,200,000,000 DM (~= 600,000,000 Euro). In the year of the scheduled opening (2012) the estimated costs had exploded to 4,500,000,000 Euro, and to 7,300,000,000 Euro in 2018.
After many mishaps, especially in fire safety (German: Brandschutz), the opening was delayed several times and the cause became a real scandal. As usual German tax payers had to spend a lot of extra money. Jesters renamed the airport to "Willy Brandschutz Airport". Finally of all things the airport was opened in the corona year on 4 November 2020, when there had been nearly no traffic. And it still remains a gargantuan money eater without any profits. The Tegel Airport closed on 8 November 2020. the Schönefeld Airport became Terminal 5 of the new airport.

Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel Airport had been the oldest German Airport and was established by Hamburger Luftschiffhallen GmbH (HLG) on 10 January 1911. The costs of 685,000 Mark had been raised exclusively by private investors. The airport was opened in January 1912. In 2016 the airport was renamed to "Hamburg Airport Helmut Schmidt". The IATA-code is HAM. The capacity of passengers had been around 17,200,000 passengers in 2018.
I am in doubt whether the airport has a real flag, but there is at least a design of a logo, and I have seen computer animated flags at the luggage belts of the airport, displaying a white logo flag and a red flag with inverted logo colours; i.e. white inscription on red background.
The logo displays a rising blue aeroplane in bend sinister followed by a decreasing U-shaped exhaust plume, interrupted by a red inscription "Hamburg Airport".
