Coat of Arms

Shield mantled, above parted per pale into Or and Sable, both sides charged with a ram's horn in counterchanged colours, beneath parted per pale into Sable and Argent charged with a trefoil of hearts in counterchanged colours.
Meaning:
The arms of the different lines of the Buseck kin all displayed a ram's head. The trefoil is representing the kins of Trohe and Nordeck. The arms since 28 November 1966 had been those of former Großen-Buseck municipality.
The coat of arms was approved on 31 January 1978 by Minister of Interior of Hesse. The arms were designed by Heinz Ritt.

Coat of Arms

Shield Or, a ram's head caboshed Sable, chief wavy Sable charged with three castles Or in base, barrulet wavy Azure beneath chief.
Meaning:
The ram's head is taken from the arms of the Lords of Buseck. The castles are representing local Zaunburg (Zannenburg/Tzanburg), Hofburg and Brandsburg. The barrulet might represent Wieseck Creek, which passes however the village.
