Forchtenberg Coat of Arms Version 1978

In a red shield is St. Michael nimbed golden and dressed in silver (= white) armour. He kills a dragon of the same colour by a golden lance with a cross at its top.
Meaning:
Count Ruppert of Dürn granted city rights in 1298. The oldest known seal is probably from the end of the 15th century. St. Michael, the patron saint of the local church, appears there ever since. The pattern changed in detail several times. The colours were fixed in 1936.

Forchtenberg Coat of Arms Version 1966

It is nearly the same as the current coat of arms. The lance of St. Michael had however no cross on top. According to Stadler's image I drew the angel with fair hair.

Sindringen Coat of Arms

On the base of the light blue shield is a green triple mount. The mountain is topped by a golden (= yellow) Latin cross flanked by two 6-point stars of the same colour.
Meaning:
Sindringen was founded around 1320 by the Lords of Weinsberg. It became a possession of Hohenlohe in 1322/1328, who effected that Emperor Karl IV granted city- and market rights in 1363. Sindringen remained a dominion of various lines of the Hohenlohe kin until 1806, when it became a part of the Kingdom of Württemberg. The arms are known from seals since the 16th century. The cross maybe an allusion to the local church dedicated to the Holy Cross. Please note that the stars within Stadler's book are 8-point, but the deed of approval confirms a 6-point star.
