A photograph with the CONANI flag draped in the background can be seen here. A photograph of the flag being carried at a rally can be seen here. The flag features the Council logo centered on a white field. The logo itself consists of three geometric shapes with faces drawn by children - a green circle on the left, a pink triangle in the middle, and a blue square on the right. Below the faces is the acronym "CONANI" in grey capital letters, with the name of the Council spelled out below the acronym in grey letters mimicking handwriting.

The Consejo Nacional para la Niñez y la Adolescencia (National Council for Children and Adolescents, CONANI) is an independent agency of the Dominican Republic government that is responsible for "guaranteeing the fundamental rights of children and adolescents and promoting their development," while also "leading the National System of Protection for Children and Adolescents," according to the agency's mission statement on its website. The organization can trace its lineage to the Consejo Nacional para la Niñez (National Council for Children, CoNaNi) in November 1978. Following the 1989 adoption by the United Nations of the Convention on the Rights of Children and its 1991 adoption by the Dominican Republic, CONANI became the government instrument through which that convention's ideals were implemented. In August 2003, the Code for the Protection and Fundamental Rights of Children and Adolescents (Law No. 136-03) was enacted, effectively transforming CONANI into the organization it is today, working in concert with the Ministry of Public Health, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Women, Ministry of Culture, and Ministry of Labor.
