The municipality of Caminomorisco (1,228 inhabitants in 2016, 14,760 ha) is located 120 km north of Cáceres, on the border with Castilla y León (Province of Salamanca). The municipality is made of the villages of Caminomorisco (seat, 757 inh. in 2008), Cambroncino (209 inh.), Arrolobos (126 inh.), Huerta (58 inh.), Romalo de Abajo (55 inh.), Cambrón (29 inh.) and Dehesilla (22 inh.), and of the depopulated villages of Arrocerezo and Arrofranco.

Flag of Caminomorisco

The flag and arms of Caminomorisco, adopted on 4 April 1994 by the Municipal Council and validated on 21 January 1994 by the Assessing Council of Honors and Distinctions of the Government of Extremadura, are prescribed by an Order issued on 23 May 1994 by the Government of Extremadura and published on 9 June 1994 in the official gazette of Extremadura, No. 66, pp. 2,164-2,165 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Quadrangular, in proportions 1:1. White, bordered in green. Charged in the center with the municipal coat of arms.
Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Checky of 15 pieces, eight argent and seven azure, 2. Argent a bend gules charged with seven crescents reverted argent and cantonned by two calabashes vert. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.

The dexter part of the arms shows the arms of the Duchy of Alba.
The sinister part alludes to the former name of the village, Las Calbazas (The Calabashes), and most probably, to its current name - the Moor's Path, represented by the bend charged with crescents.
The flag in actual use (photo, photo) appears to be in 2:3 proportions, with a very small coat of arms.
