All "British Arctic Territory" flags are hoaxes, developed by Clay Moss et al. on April Fools' Days

Tourism flag

This amusing, but unofficial tourism flag has become very visible along many of the more popular British Arctic Territory (BAT) resort and beach fronts in recent years. The design can be traced back to a well-known surf and swim-wear shop located near the boardwalk and amusement park in the coastal vacation and resort city of Brr. It should be pointed out here that this flag has absolutely nothing to do with the official BAT Tourist Bureau (BATTB), or the local Chamber of Commerce of the City of Brr.

The Tourism Flag has also recently been reported being displayed at several of the more popular BAT alpine skiing resorts and clubs, and was carried in the opening ceremonies of the Arctic Winter games by members of the BAT cross country ski team.

Your flag is correct, but shown in reverse image. The hoist runs right up the snowbear's back.

Fun in the Arctic Sun flag

The BAT Tourist Bureau (BATTB) has announced the beginning of their new "Visit the Bat" incentive program and the unveiling of the new BATTB "Fun in the Artic Sun" flag. Beginning on April 1, 2023, special tourist discounts * will be available to visitors at the British Arctic Territory Resort located in the beautiful beach town of Brr. Attractions in the area include a visit to the new British Arctic Territory Arctic Aardvark Reserve (BATAAR), where visitors can get to see the endangered Arctic Aardvark up close. The Arctic Aardvark has been facing extinction because of illegal poaching due to the demands of the fashionable practice of wearing Aardvark lined hats but with the opening of the BATAAR they are now making a slow comeback in their new protective home.

* Visitors taking advantage of the resort discounts will have to attend a sales presentation during their stay learning about the Igloo Village Vacation Home Share Program offered by the BAT Tourist Bureau.

Battle of the Crustaceans Flag

This last year saw this whimsical new tourism flag selling in the shops of British Arctic Territory resort and beach fronts and the coastal vacation and resort city of Brr. It has been also displayed at several of the more popular BAT alpine skiing resorts and clubs. Apparently, it is linked to the 50th Anniversary of the infamous Battle of the Crustaceans that took place on the disputed border between the BAT and the RAT.

The high tensions were accidentally defused on April 1st by the now well-known miscommunication between BAT Naval forces commander Kentucky-born Southerner Commadore Emit DeSaster and his ship’s aide British born Ensign Charles Daniels. It led to a peaceful resolution of the pending war between the British Arctic Territory forces and the Russian Arctic Territory forces. As the BAT warship Angry Crab bore down on the RAT frigate Laughing Clam it looked like the war would begin with the first cannon shot between the neighboring territories. As the Commadore yelled to his aid, “Hand me the Jack, Daniels” to hoist the war jack, Ensign Daniels misunderstood the American as saying “Hand me the Jack Daniels” and ran to his captain's cabin to retrieve his aged fifth of Jack Daniels. When the Commadore held the bottle up in disbelief the Russian ship heaved to without firing. A party soon broke out between the two crews and the war was averted. Later the two territories merged peacefully into the BAT of today.
