It was a fairly typical portuguese municipal flag, with the coat of arms centered on yellow and black quarterly (town rank) background. The arms are Azure a palm tree Or emphasized Sable with an oar of the Same per bend over all with its paddle downwards and a rifle of the Same per counterbend over all with its muzzle upwards. Mural crown argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "Vila de Bissorã".

This coat of arms can be seen, scanned from [lgh66], at HotW website, and in the Wikimedia Commons. In the later location, where the quartered background of the flag was clumsily “cleaned up”, uploader Emerson states that this flag «may be still in use». Based on what I know of Portuguese former colonies’ municipal flags, I’d say that is highly unlikely.

This flag was surely taken out of use upon decolonization in 1974 (though probably not earlier, inspite of the colonial war waged since 1961 and unilateral independence proclaimed in 1973, as apparently this town, according to the Portuguese Wikipedia, was in Portuguese hands (Companhia de Caçadores N.º 13) till the end).
