A photo of the flag shows that the centre of the flag
is complicated, nearly as complicated as the old Sikkim flag.
The
present Ruler is the 19th Magau, Y.M. (for Yang Mulia or His Highness) Andi
Cimbu Tagunu, ruling since 2000.

The arms are a green octagon bearing crossed swords and a
red-black-yellow-white shield. The coat of arms looks like being modern, the
colours above I would take to mean that those are the colours of their flag, in
vertical form, red/black/golden-yellow/white. Parigi State is located on
The Celebes or Sulawesi Island, and it was small. Two of the most powerful
Sultanates were Gowa and Bone, or Boni, both located on the Southern
arm near
Makasser.

The red State Flag of Riau looks like the flag of Turkey,
but the white star & crescent is nearer the hoist.
