A white-field flag of "Al-Turath University", established in 1988 in Baghdad, Iraq. The name al-turath (التراث) means "heritage" or "tradition". ; c. 2022. The flag design is slightly different from logo posted on Wikipedia: top Arabic slogan is different. at bottom the English slogan is missing the word "college", the "griffin" image differs, and at the top there is a small Iraqi flag in the shape of Iraq and the number "1" (which may refer to this university being the oldest or first private university in Iraq), and the "griffin" design differs. Regarding the school's name, I'm guessing someone at the school finally realized that "university" and "college" seemed to be redundant. [As the flag is currently for sale in a flag shop in Baghdad, I'm presuming that the flag displays the updated and current logo of the university.]
The flag photo was sent to me by a contact in Baghdad.
