City Flag

The flag, according to http://www.city.miki.lg.jp/reiki/reiki_honbun/ak31700051.html, was adopted on August 10th, 1973 (Showa 48). The flag has a 7x10 ratio with a white emblem on blue. The emblem depicted on the flag is not the city symbol, which can be seen at http://www.city.miki.lg.jp/profile/gaiyo.html. The design element comprising the white symbol of the flag is three carpenter's squares forming the letter "M" for Miki. It also shows future progress and development of the city.
The first link also provides a construction sheet for the flag, but does not specify what shade of blue is used on the flag.

The city flag was adopted on Aug 10th 1966 by Notice No 11. The blue flag has a white flag design different from the city emblem in the center. The flag design is a stylized M of Miki in a form of a large, a medium and a small three different sizes of steel squares. It represents the past, the present and the future, an image of the developing city and the land form expanding westward.
