But the town flag hoisted at the top of Mt Ratna Chuli in the Himalayas had the town name (いの町) added.

The town emblem was adopted on Oct 1st 2004 by Notice No 1 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a maroon town emblem in the center. The town emblem is stylized hiragana いの Ino.

The flag of former village of Gohoku was green with mark. The village is now, from 2004, part of the town of Ino.

According to a document about the existing symbols for the purpose of choosing symbols for the new town the logo is stylised kanji 吾 of 吾北 Gohoku (吾北). The vertical point expresses improvement and advancement, the circle harmony and cooperation, the horizontal span abundance and the several peaks [in the shape of the kanji 山 (山 mountain) mountain villages. It was adopted on 1 April 1966.

The flag of the former village of Hongawa was green with mark. The village is now, from 2004, part of the town of Ino.

According to a document about the existing symbols for the purpose of choosing symbols for the new town the emblem is stylised kanji 本 (本 /hon/, origin, root) of 本川 Hongawa (本川). The central triangle expresses advancement, the circle formed by the side stands for cooperation and harmony, so the emblem is a representation in the form of villager's friendly hands of the villager's unity and cooperation. The emblem was adopted on 1 July 1980.
