The municipality of Lozovo (2,858 inhabitants; 166.32 sq. km) is located in central North Macedonia in the Ovce Pole region. It is made of the village of Lozovo and the settlements of Adžibegovo, Adžimatovo, Bekirlija, Dorfulija, Gjuzemelci, Karatmanovo, Kišino, Pozovo, Milino, Saramzalino and Kjoselari.

Lozovo mostly lives from agriculture since arable lands cover 60% of the municipal territory, with grains, grapes and tobacco as the main crops. Pastures cover 35% of the municipal territory. The biggest agricultural complex, Agrokombinat (AK) Dzumajlija, is located in Lozovo. It was established in 1954 as the Dzumajlija agricultural estate, which in 1962 merged with Ovce Pole Agroindustrial Plant from Sveti Nikole. The Dzumajlija joint stock company has annual production of various agricultural products, with grains accounting for the most of the output (about 10,000 t of wheat, and 3,500 t of barley) along with wine (15,000 t). Other agricultural products include 4,000 t of grapes (the same quantity is also bought from other producers); 2,500 t of flour; 500 t of processing tomatoes; 1,000 t of sunflower; 2,000 t of alfalfa forage etc. Dzumajlija employs 230 people. The output is produced through the company's facilities: arable land (5,650 ha); a wine cellar and winery, which was established 25 years ago with a capacity of 20,000,000 liters of different types of wine from Merlot, Vranec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zilavka, Smederevka; a mill with daily capacity to produce 10,000 kilos of superb flour; sophisticated agricultural machinery (tractors, combines, planting machines); and a catering facility, the Dzumajlija Motel. The Agrokombinat also has 1000 sheeps (Pramenka Ovce Valley Region) and 700-900 lambs per year, as well as a dairy farm with 200 cattle. 5000 litres of milk are produced per day.

Flag of Lozovo

The flag of Lozovo (Macedonian Ministry of Local Self-Government website, page no longer online), is horizontally divided light blue-dark green-dark yellow with an emblem near the bottom of the flag, overlapping the two upper stripes of the flag. The emblem is a rendition of the municipal emblem, which shows a landscape with a metallic tower (for oil drilling or telecommunications?), flanked by the main crops of the area, on the left tobacco leaves and a barley ear, on the right, grapes and a wheat ear (assuming that barley is represented with awns [beard] and wheat without it, which is a common but wrong simplification). The name of the municipality is written on a scroll below the emblem.
A more recent version of the Macedonian Ministry of Local Self-Government website (page no longer online, either) shows the flag as horizontal, with the emblem near the upper hoist.
