The Environmentalist Green Party of Mexico is the second party of the
electoral coalition which brought President-elect Vicente Fox to win the
2000 elections in Mexico. It's emblem is a green disc over wich we can read
"Partido Verde Ecologista de Mexico" in white capital letters. Within the
disc, we see a Toucan perched over a bold white "V"; below the bird, we see
a golden disc, perhaps a sun-like symbol, and to the sides of this
composition, two bluw-and-red winged snakes, of the Aztec kind. Over a
green field (of that very particular shade of lead green sported by the
PVE), the emblem becomes a flag.

Actually, all flags hoisted by partisans and candidates were proportioned 1:2
centered with the party's emblem.
