Coat of Arms

The coat of arms of Pabellón de Arteaga was adopted through a contest under Mayor Humberto Ambriz Aguilar (1981–1983). Its designer was teacher Berenice Medina Mota. Description according to the Encyclopedia of Municipalities and Delegations of Mexico:

It is found divided into four sections which connect together into a big, open book through which two ears of wheat emanate. In the upper left the act of promulgation of this municipality is represented, with its primary activity being agriculture. In the center of the upper half, between the two ears, the principal products are found: vine-related items and corn. The upper-right has a lit torch which is held by a hand, representing culture. In the lower half, two centerpieces are found, symbolizing work and cattle-raising which are represented by a pick and shovel crossed together; the bird symbolizes the liberty of the municipality. In the four corners of the coat of arms and in its representative figure, the words "educación, cultura, trabajo y libertad" [in a Greek-style font; meaning education, culture, work, and liberty] are found. In the upper area, the name of the municipality Pabellón de Arteaga is shown; in the lower area the name of the state of Aguascalientes.
