It appears that Banámichi does not use a municipal flag, as I could find no record and the council does not seem familiar with the idea.

Banámichi's coat of arms was adopted in August of 1983 by Manuel García Madrid during the administration of 1982-1985; most likely, he was asked to do so by the municipality. Description from the municipal government:
The Coat of Arms is a quadrangle with scrolls, over the principal body is a drawing explaining the etymological significance of the name of the Municipality. BANAMITZI of the Ópata language, "Where the water makes a turn", representing the three towns of La Mora, Las Delicias, and the proper town, a horizontal band with the legend BARTOLOME CASTAÑO S.J. FUNDADOR [Society of Jesus, Founder]. Representing the cattle resources, economic base; in the center the Monolith in the Benito Juárez Plaza; in the third section representing agriculture and cattle-raising, in the lower half the legend "Me afano por la cultura por el bien y la grandeza" [I strive for the culture, for good, and greatness], the motto of the town.
The lower half depicts the council building, the Mission of Our Lady of the Remedies of Banámichi, and a typical building of the area. The background is in the colors of the national flag.
