No Flag

Through my question, the council seemed to not really know the concept of a municipal flag; I did not find a municipal flag in my search either, showing that Pitiquito most likely does not use a flag.

Coat of Arms

image from Wikimedia Commons

I was informed by the council that the coat of arms of Pitiquito was designed by Prof. Paulina Reyna Ortega in 1952; the process of the symbol's selection is unknown. Indeed, it is one of the oldest in the state; the state's coat of arms was adopted just eight years prior and the capital's was adopted nearly a decade later. Since I wasn't able to find a proper description online, I will describe it myself.

The coat of arms is shaped like a gem. On the dexter side of it is a stalk of cotton; on the other side is a stalk of wheat. On the bottom of the symbol is an open book reading "Pitiquito Sonora" at the top within it. Crowning the coat of arms is a deer's head, which is also a symbol of the Yaqui Indian. The coat of arms is divided inequally, with the upper half (divided in half) taking 1/3 of the gem's height and the lower half taking 2/3, the divisions outlined in thick black borders. In the first quadrant of the upper portion, there is corn, a cluster of grapes, a watermelon, and two pitayas (Pitiquito is especially known for producing pitayas). The second quadrant depicts a cow in an enclosure below two clouds. The other portion depicts a miner resting on rocks with a saguaro providing shade, panning for gold. The background is a sea (as the municipality borders the Sea of Cortez) and has a boat, with land in the distance; to the side of a mountain is a factory for industry. What appears to be a fishing net has the silhouette of a fish beside it. An image on a brown field shows a woman sitting beside a sewing machine, preparing a saddle (Pitiquito is also well-known for its leather-making industry). Below these exists an image of the San Diego del Pitiquito Mission, where a valley can be seen in the distance.
