The flag of the Loyauté Islands Province is white with the province's logo, made of a yellow disk charged with a black rooftop spear superimposed to a white map of the province.The writing "PROVINCE ILES", in black Italic letters is placed below the emblem.
The lack of the writing "NOUVELLE-CALEDONIE" and
the use of the Kanak rooftop spear and yellow disk recall that the Kanak population is dominant in the the Province, which is an independentist stronghold (all of the 14 representatives are from independentist parties).
