The flag maker at https://www.mastenenvlaggen.nl/product/dorpsvlag-almkerk advertises a concept village flag for the Brabant village of Almkerk. The flag was designed by their design studio in 2023 because Almkerk does not (yet) have its own flag. The village does have its own village coat of arms, which dates from the year 1817. From that year until 1973, it served as the municipal coat of arms of the former municipality of Almkerk.
The proposed Almkerk flag is yellow in color and has a red wavy stripe in the middle. This symbolizes the Alm river, on which the local church was built. An image of a salmon has been placed above and below this track. The salmon are traced to the family coat of arms of the noble family of Altena , just as is the case with the flag and coat of arms of the village of Andel.

The flag maker at https://www.mastenenvlaggen.nl/product/dorpsvlag-andel advertises a concept village flag for the Brabant village of Andel. The flag was designed by their design studio in 2023 because Andel does not (yet) have its own flag. The village does have its own village coat of arms, which dates from 1818. From that year until 1973, it served as the municipal coat of arms of the former municipality of Andel.
The Andel flag is very similar to the flag of Almkerk and is laid out in the
same way. The background is green in color as a reference to the background of
the village coat of arms. In the center of the flag is a white wavy stripe with
a white salmon above and below it. The undulating track symbolizes the Afgedamde
Maas, a branch of the Maas on which the village is located.

The flag maker at https://www.mastenenvlaggen.nl/product/dorpsvlag-drongelen advertises a concept village flag for the Brabant village of Drongelen. This flag was designed by their design studio in 2023 because Drongelen does not (yet) have its own flag. The village does have its own village coat of arms dating from 1817. From that year until 1923, it served as the municipal coat of arms of the former municipality of Drongelen. Nowadays the village falls under the municipality of Altena.
The proposed Drongelen flag is blue and has three white horizontal stripes.
These are interrupted by the image of a white wagon wheel with six spokes. This
wagon wheel was ultimately traced to the municipal coat of arms of Heusden and
the family coat of arms of the Lords of Heusden and Altena. This coat of arms
had been used since the year 1260.

The flag maker at https://www.mastenenvlaggen.nl/product/dorpsvlag-veen advertises a concept village flag for the Brabant village of Veen. This flag was designed by their design studio in 2023 because Veen does not (yet) have its own flag. The design is based on the associated village coat of arms, which dates from 1817. This coat of arms was used at the time as the municipal coat of arms for the former municipality of Veen. This municipality has been closed since 1973. Nowadays Veen falls under the municipality of Altena.
The Veen flag is white in color and shows the corresponding village coat of arms
in the middle. This consists of a yellow coat of arms with three red lions
passant. It is not known where this emblem comes from. In an 18th century
manuscript, the lions are said to have looked somewhat like eels.
