Gorlice city flag
Gorlice - urban commune, Gorlice County, Małopolskie Voivodship - Yiddish
name: (Gurlitz)
The name "Gorlice" is pronounced "Gor-leetz-eh," with the stress falling
on the middle syllable.
Gorlice was founded during the reign of Casimir the Great in 1354.
The city was the focal point of the German Gorlice-Tarnów Offensive during
World War I, in May, 1915.
Arms and flag were adopted on October 26, 2006 (resolution # 524/LV/2006).
"Arms: on blue shield there is an image of a golden lion standing,
with two black keys in its paws and a red tongue.
Flag: a rectangle in proportions 5:8 divided in slant into two equal
triangles.
The lower triangle (from the hoist) is yellow and the upper one is
dark blue.
On the yellow triangle there is Coat of Arms "Zadora" of the original owners
of the town, the Karwacjan family, placed on the light-blue shield.
On the dark blue triangle is a Coat of Arms of the city, also on the light-blue
shield.
Obverse and reverse of the flag are identical."

Does this mean the the coats of arms must face to the dexter on both
sides of the flag, rather than to the sinister on the reverse if such were
a mirror image - in
other words, the arms must be double-sided.thus the flag's obverse
and reverse differing?
And my monitor shows the lower triangle of this flag as buff with a
slight yellow cast and I wondered if it needed adjustment?

The illustration in question is a part of the law. It says also that
in print the color yellow should be portrayed as "Ugier Złoty" (Golden
Ochre).
The other question about the identical look of both sides of the flag
must remain unanswered, as I don't know how they interpret it "(identical")
and they don't elaborate about it any further.
