Shield Purpure with base wavy of Argent and Vert, a paly palm leaf Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "ANGRA - SANTA LUZIA".
Meaning:
The base wavy is due to the green colour alluding to the Atlantic. The palm leaf might be an attribute of Sta. Lucia, the local patron saint and name giver of the commune.

Santa Luzia Commune is one of the 19 communes of the Angra do Heroísmo municipality (q.v.); it had 2755 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 1.2 km².
