The white-yellow flag and the corresponding arms were proposed and probably adopted by the local council, but in 2018 not approved nor published in the official journal Diário da República. In case of its approval that flag would have been the very first example of a yellow and white bicolour. The white-yellow flag and the corresponding arms were published in Diário da República: II Série on 23 February 2021
