Coat of Arms

Shield Gules, three triplets of wheat ears Or in fess, in chief a mitre Or garnished Azure with scarves Or, in base crossed hammer, piercer and pick axe, all Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE TRIGACHES E SÃO BRISSOS".
Meaning:
The triplets of wheat are representing former Trigaches commune, the tools former São Brissos commune. The mitre has replaced the cross Lorraine from the São Brissos arms, which probably should be interpreted as an episcopal cross here.

Shield Vert a fess Argent masoned Gules, in chief two triplets of wheat ears Or tied Gules ordered per fess, in base one triplet of wheat ears Or tied Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll , in Bérnard Guedes style, with inscription in black initials: "TRIGACHES".
