Shield Vert a palm frond Or in pale and flanked by two grape bunches Or leafed Argent, in base a lyre Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll in short toponym style reading in black upper case serifed letters "ANELHE".

Anelhe was one of the 30 communes of Chaves Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes ; it had 444 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 12.49 km².
