It is an untypical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a field gyronny of eight of green and pink.

Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with black inscription in maiuscules "FREGUESIA DE ERVEDEDO".

Neither flag nor CoA have been approved officially The Coat of Arms doesn´ t match heraldic tincture rules. Gyronny flags are approved only for cities with mural crown having five visible towers.
