Shield Argent a bend wavy Azure charged with three cyprinids Argent, on sinister chief a flax branch Vert blossomed thrice Azure seeded Or, on dexter base an eradicated pine tree Vert fruited Or. Mural crown with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "BOGAS DE CIMA".
Meaning:
The cyprinids, a little kind of carps, (Port.: bogas) are canting elements. The bend wavy is a representation of the namesake creek. The flax branch is a representation of the local textiles production. The pine is a representation of nature and economic activities, such as agriculture, forestry and timber industry.

Bogas de Cima is one of the 18 communes of Fundão Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 328 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 31,24 km².
