Shield Or a stomp of a chestnut tree Vert with three sprouts of the same, on chief a chisel Gules and a pick axe and a hammer of the same hafted Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers(village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "ARRIFANA - GUARDA".

Arrifana is one of the 34 communes of Guarda Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 555 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 15,82 km².
