Shield Or with base wavy of Azure and Argent, on chief a lion passant guardant Azure armed and tongued Gules, in centre two chalices Gules in fess. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll,, reading in black upper case serifed letters "CAVADOUDE".

Cavadoude is one of the 34 communes of Guarda Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 243 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 6,65 km².
