Shield Or three olive twigs Vert fruited Sable in fan, surrounded on orle by five lozenges Gules ordered 3:2, issuant from base a mount Vert. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard Guedes style, reading in black upper case serifed letters "RAMELA".

Ramela is one of the 35 communes of Guarda Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 181 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 10,16 km².
