Shield Gules, a castle Argent with three embattled towers masoned Azure with port and windows of the same, in chief a scallop Or flanked by two swallows volant affronty Proper, in base a grapevine Or leaved Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "SAMPRIZ".
Meaning:
The scallop is an attribute of St. James the Elder, the local patron saint.
