Coat of arms

Shield quartered of Argent and Vert, charged with an olive tree fruited Or with trunk and branches in counterchanged colours. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "OLIVEIRA - PÓVOA DE LANHOSO".
Meaning:
The olive tree is canting. Please note that quartered shields are explicitely forbidden by decree of 14 April 1930, and thus implicitely also by law of 1991.
