Shield Azure with base wavy of Argent and Azure, a pillory Argent lined Sable, flanked by two branches of laurel Or, in base crossed per saltire. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll (Bénard Guedes style) with inscription in black capitals "ÓVOA".

Coat of arms

Shield Argent with base wavy of Azure and Argent, an eradicated willow Vert, in chief an impending Latin cross Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "VIMIEIRO - SANTA COMBA DÃO">.
Meaning:
The willow tree (Port.: vimieiro) is a canting element. The cross is referring to the local parish church, dedicated to the Holy Cross. The base wavy is representing the local Aguieira backwater.
