Shield Vert, a gutter and a harpoon, both Argent in saltire, between two cans Or with arched handles of the same and hoops Gules, issuant from base wavy of Vert and Argent a mount Or. Mural crown with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with black inscription "FREGUESIA DE S. ROQUE DO PICO".
Meaning:
Harpoon and gutter are symbolising whaling, being the economic base in the past. The cans are symbolising the local dairy production. Mountain and base wavy are symbolising landscape, sea and touristic hotspots.
