Shield Or parted by a fess Argent masoned Sable and fimbriated Gules, in central chief an amphora Azure, in base an eradicated olive tree Vert fruited Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "MADALENA - TOMAR".
Meaning:
The masoned and fimbriated fess is representing a local Roman road. The amphora is an attribute of St. Maria Magdalen, the local patron saint.

Madalena Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Tomar Municipality (q.v.); it had 3239 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 30.6 km².

The arms are Vert a bridge Argent throughout masoned Sable issuant from a base wavy Argent charged with two bendlets wavy Azure and in chief two keys crossed per saltire Or sinister bendy over Argent bendy. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "BESELGA - TOMAR"
Meaning:
The keys are an attribute of St. Peter.
