Shield Argent with base wavy of Azure and Argent, issuant from base a throughout bridge Sable with four arches masoned Argent, on chief an anvil Sable flanked by two smith´s hammers Sable hafted Gules in pale. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "FERREIRÓS DO DÃO".
Meaning:
The base wavy is a representation of the name giving Dão River. Hammers and anvil are tools used by smiths (Portuguese: ferreiros) and thus canting.

Ferreirós do Dão is one of the 12 communes of Tondela Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 355 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 8,35 km².
