Shield Or, the front of a car Gules with windscreen, lights, radiator grill and tyres Argent garnished Sable, flanked by two trees eradicated Vert, issuant from base a triplemount Vert. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard Guedes style, reading in black upper case serifed letters "GUARDÃO - TONDELA".
Meaning:
The triplemount is a representation of the Caramulo Mountains.
