Shield Or, on fess point an impending bell Gules with bell frame of the same and bobbin Sable, on either chief corner an olive branch Vert fruited Sable, issuant from base a mount Vert, charged with three connected barrulets wavy alternating of Argent and Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard Guedes style, reading in black upper case serifed letters "RIBAFEITA".

The old symbols had been basically the same as the current ones with one difference. On chief there had been a yoke Gules instead of the olive branches.

Ribafeita is one of the 18 communes of Viseu Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 1079 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 18,59 km².
