Shield Vert with base wavy of Argent and Azure, issuant from base a throughout bridge Argent masoned Sable with four arches, on chief a laurel wreath Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard Guedes style, reading in black upper case serifed letters "LOUREIRA".
Meaning:
The bridge is a representation of the local stone bridge. The wreath of laurel (Portuguese: loureiro) is a canting element.

Loureira is one of the 21 communes of Vila Verde Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 1104 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 1,87 km².
