Shield Vert a sword flamant Argent hilted Or in pale balancing a pair of scales Or, on either chief corner a wine leaf Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "PRADO – SÃO MIGUEL – VILA VERDE".
Meaning:
Sword and scales are attributes of St. Michael, name giver and local patron saint of the commune, the leaves are symbolising agriculture as most important business line.

São Miguel do Prado is one of the 21 communes of Vila Verde Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 653 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 5,35 km².
