The City of Adygeysk became an independent entity in 2000, when it was carved
out of the Teuchezhskiy rayon and became a City. In 2004 its status was changed
into City District (as are all independent cities in Russia). Description and meaning of the flag: A rectangular panel with a ratio of width to length 2: 3, consisting of two horizontal stripes: green (top, width ¾ of the width of the panel) and yellow; in the center of the green strip is a yellow oak tree with twelve branches and thirteen leaves: one at the end of each branch and one at the top, and with green roots on the yellow strip. Oak in heraldry is a symbol of inflexibility, strength, permanence, longevity, wisdom and endurance. In the traditional Circassian culture, the oak is one of the sacred trees.
The number of branches and leaves in the coat of arms corresponds to the number of settlements flooded by the Krasnodar reservoir, whose inhabitants became the first settlers of the city of Adygeisk. The golden tip symbolizes the cultivated forest-steppe on which the settlements of the municipality "Adygeisk City" are located, as well as numerous archeological monuments located in the vicinity of the city.
The symbolism of scarlet (red) converted bulls is ambiguous. They symbolize the name of the area on which the city is located, which in Adyghe means "the place where the bulls (buffaloes) are lying by the water". The bull is a symbol of industriousness, tamed power and humility. In addition, the bull is one of the oldest symbols of fertility in the traditional culture and emblem of the Circassians, which dates back to the Maikop archaeological culture of the Bronze Age of the 3rd millennium BC. The scarlet (red) color of the bulls symbolizes the fact of the emergence of the city of Adygeisk in Soviet times.
In general, the composition of the coat of arms personifies the striving forward, progress, prosperity and prosperity, hard work, humility, diligence.
The green color in heraldry symbolizes hope, abundance, freedom, joy.
Golden (yellow) color symbolizes nobility, power, wealth, faith, justice, mercy, humility.
Golden and green colors are also the national colors of the Circassians.
Red color - courage, courage, fearlessness. Adopted on 05.09.2019

In 2005 the City got its present coat of arms, but no flag was adopted. This
year (2019), after the city symbols contest, the city authorities made their
choice and the new coat of arms and flag were adopted. They are submitted to the
Russian heraldic authority to be approved, after which they will be registered
in the federal register. I used our friends websites
heraldicum.ru and geraldika.ru and here is the
city website http://adigeisk.ru/ Description and meaning: In a green field with a golden extremity, a golden oak tree with twelve branches and thirteen leaves: one at the end of each branch and one at the top, and with green roots at the extremity, followed at the extremity along the sides by two scarlet turned and turned bulls. Oak in heraldry is a symbol of inflexibility, strength, permanence, longevity, wisdom and endurance. In the traditional Circassian culture, the oak is one of the sacred trees.

Description and meaning: The coat of arms has a traditional shield shape. In the upper part is the inscription "Adygeisk". At the bottom - the inscription "1969". The above inscriptions are arranged in a frame of the coat of arms itself. In the center of the garba, there are images of three houses with foci and exposed turbulent walls, symbolizing flooded settlements, the inhabitants of which were resettled in the future city. Above is the conditional water level line of the Krasnodar Sea with sharp rounded ends. The outline of the upper part of the coat of arms has the shape of a gable roof, which is a symbol of a house common to all the immigrants, which is the city of Adygeisk. The emblem is solved in two colors: the inscriptions "Adygeysk", "1969", the image of the houses, the waves of the reservoir (sea) and the frame itself are given in the color of gold. Background for the inscriptions "Adygeysk", "1969" and the general background have a red-burgundy color. Adopted on 03.06.2005
