As shown on the official website, the flag of the Slovene police is the national flag with the hexagonal emblem of the police in the middle; the emblem was introduced very soon after independence in 1991 to replace the emblem of the former People's Militia. The flag likely came some time later; I
remember an article in the military magazine Obramba in early 1992 on
the new symbols of the security services, which made no mention of a flag.
The flag has a blue cravat with the
national coat of arms and the writing "REPUBLIKA SLOVENIJA".

The aforementioned website shows a Slovene tricolor flag with the badge of the uniformed-police in the middle, and a much darker than usual middle blue stripe. I suppose that this flag belongs to the uniformed branch; it is possible that each of the specialized branches has a flag.
