Description of the flag

I just came across this report (in Spanish): http://www.elconfidencial.com/mundo/2014-10-27/nostalgia-de-ti-dictador-ben-ali_419339/ regarding Tunisians currently complaining about events after the downfall of Ben Ali's dictatorship; halfway is a picture of a demonstration seen through some Tunisian flag I couldn't identify. Finally I found out it's the flag of the Union Générale Tunisienne du Travail (Tunisian General Union of Labour) shown here: http://www.tunisia-live.net/2011/09/02/ugtt-calls-for-a-healthy-competition-between-political-parties/ (http://www.ugtt.org.tn/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/bce2.jpg).

The UGTT is the main trade union center in Tunisia, counting 750,000 members. UGTT was established on 20 January 1946 by the nationalist leader Fahrat Ached (1914-1952). After the independence of Tunisia in 1956, the UGTT supported the single-party regime established by Habib Bourguiba, as a component of the National Front. In the 1970s, the UGTT turned into the sole structured opposition force in the country, challenging Bourguiba's power during long crises in 1978 (Black Wednesday, 26 January) and 1983-1984 (Bread Uprising, 27 December-6 January 1984). The regime led by Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali, took the control of the UGTT in 1989, during the Sousse Congress. After the Jasmine Revolution, the UGTT participated to the national unity government set up on 17 January 2011. The three ministers from the UGTT resigned three days later to protest against the involvement of dignitaries of the ancient regime in the government. Following the attack of the headquarters the UGTT on 5 December 2011, the UGTT became a main opponent to the government led by the Islamic party Ennahda.
